The Awarding of the 2024 and 2024 Scholarships

On behalf of the Summer Chula Taylor Foundation, we would like to thank you for your support especially during these challenging times. Your generosity has enabled us to confer a
scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 to a deserving student. This student matriculates at the Community College of Baltimore County, CCBC, and majors in Biology. She is the mother of a young child and understands the important of education. She is part of the Degrees to Succeed Program with the University of Baltimore, UB, which assists students in transferring seamlessly from CCBC to UB to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree. Her objective is to graduate from UB
with a degree in Forensics Science. This scholarship will help to enable her to focus more on her studies and ensure a brighter future for her and her daughter.

In addition, we are donating $500.00 to the Living Classroom Foundation located in Baltimore City. This foundation engages children, youth, and adults through unique and interactive learning environments to build safer and healthier communities. They accomplish this via different programs some involve the youth engagement with environmental concerns.
